Monogram Hair Brush

I saw this tutorial on youtube and thought it was cute, but I found an easier (and cuter) way to make one. I made this for under $15 (consider that I already had the glue, tape, and hairbrush). I got a pre-designed hair brush at CVS.

Materials:
*super glue-$3
 *rhinestones-$3
*hair brush-$7
*stick on letter or iron on letter (I used stick-on)-$3
*spray on gloss-$3
* tape

I got my stick on letter at hobby lobby for about $3.00. They are made for walls but I re-purposed them and they worked great! Iron on letters also work but I think the stickers look a lot better.

Step 1.
Cut out stick on letter around the edge (or iron on letter)

Step 2.
Center sticker on hair brush and stick
Step 3.
Peel the clear lining off the sticker

Step 4. *This step is optional*
Add rhinestones on brush using super glue (not a lot of glue is needed- a tiny dot does a lot!)

Step 5.
Place tape around perimeter of brush so gloss doesn't get on the inside.

Step 6.
Apply gloss coat (put brush in a cardboard box lined with paper towels) Apply a couple coats for a NICE glossy finish!

Step 7.
Let dry for 2-3 hours

Step 8.
Finished!

Enjoy!
